Melanie Kelly

She is an expert in strategy development, innovation and industry policy, health policy, business cases, cost benefit analysis, market analysis, scenario development and economic impact analysis.

Over her career, she has helped her clients to win more than $4 billion in funding and has championed critical policy reforms and investments, including PBS reform, cancer policy reform, national e-health infrastructure, major mining investments and government infrastructure development.

Melanie is a specialist in the life sciences, government services, ICT, defence and resources sectors. She previously served as a partner and founding director of the economics practice at Deloitte, where she was the Lead Partner for the Government and Industry Advisory practice and the Business Case Centre of Excellence in Victoria.

She also served as an inaugural member of the National Blood Cancer Taskforce and lead author of the National Strategic Action Plan for Blood Cancer.
